Stroboscopic observations in pulse sequence?

Post by ethanque »

Hello,

I am wondering if there is an efficient way to simulate a pulse sequence with multiple recordings happening in between pulses, i.e. stroboscopic observations. The most basic example would be a CP or CPMG sequence, with echo observations occurring in between consecutive pi pulses. In principle, one could write a loop that simulates a 2 pulse experiment, then a 3 pulse, then 4, and so on, but this would be inefficient, having to start from scratch each time. I expect it would be much more efficient to save the state at the time of recording the signal, then apply another pulse, and iterate. Such a feature could be very helpful for investigating problems in Average Hamiltonian Theory. Is there a built-in feature for doing this in saffron or spidyan?

Thanks,
Ethan

This is possible with spidyan, if you use Exp.DetSequence.
