Hi everyone,
I am working with a high-spin Fe(III) cluster system. The low field pattern looks like rhombic high spin Fe(III) with wide D distribution. But I find
the broad signal around 3200 quite difficult to simulate, which possibly indicates presence of multiple components. So
(1) is there a way to tell easyspin to simulate the low field signal only but not the full spectrum?
(2) What can be the origin of broad signal at high field. Mossbauer spectrum shows that the compound is low-spin Fe(III) at 25 K. But the broad feature looks nothing close to anisotropic low spin Fe(III). Could this be due to fast relaxation caused by magnetic coupling? Or this can be attributed to a second component of high spin Fe(III) with axial ZFS symmetry?
Many thanks!
