Discrepancy between excitation profiles of the sinc fucntion
Dear EasySpin users, I am interested in looking to shaped pulses and particularly to the sinc function. However when using easyspin functions to calculate the excitation profile it did shows some sharp spikes. However, when I did manually calculate the inversion profile these spikes disappear. I kno...

it possible to add a hamming window on shape pulses?
Dear EasySpin users, I would like to know how to hamming window a shaped pulse and then first calculate the associated IQ and afterwards use exciteprofile function. here is bit of an example that I used to apply this for sinc pulse. clear dt = 0.1e-3; par.tp = 0.100; %us t0 = 0:dt:par.tp; ti0 =t0-0....

Re: excitation profiles of a sequence of pulses
Hi, Many thanks for your suggestions. Sometimes it's useful to know the overall excitation profile like for the observer sequence in DEER experiments to optimise the frequency offset between pump and probe especially when using shaped pulses. I will try to work out on what you suggested. Many thanks...

Re: excitation profiles of a sequence of pulses
Hi, Let's take a simple example of a sequence of Gaussian pulses: pi/2--t1---pi---t2---pi where pi/2=20ns, pi=40ns, t1= 380ns and t2=1.2us. with FWHM = 0.020us. I hope this will help, otherwise you can use any other parameters just keep it as a sequence of any shaped pulses. Many thanks for your pro...

excitation profiles of a sequence of pulses
Dear EasySpin users, I am just wondering if possible to calculate the excitation profile of a whole sequence of pulses using EasySpin functions. I know there is "pulse" function that allows to do this but so far there is only examples for calculation of excitation profiles of a single puls...

Re: shape and chirp pulses
Hi, Many thanks for your prompt reply. Sorry for the confusion, as you know like in DEER experiment, we can easily calculate the excitation profile of the whole observer sequence which is composed of pi/2-tau1-pi-tau2-pi. I was wondering if possible to do something similar by calculating the excitat...

shape and chirp pulses
Dear all,
I am interested in shaped pulses and would like to know how to calculate the excitation profile for a sequence of shaped pulses. I know there are examples already in EasySpin but only for a single pi or pi/2 pulse. Any thoughts are welcomed.

high Field ESEEM
Dear EasySpin users, I am trying to run some high field ESEEM simulation but I am getting more lines than expected. The spectrum looks bit complicated than it should. I am using the experimental parameters taken form J.Phys.Chem. B, Vol. 112, No. 30, 2008. I have attached the code that I used for th...
