Why is being able to code and program useful for physicists?

If you're doing theoretical research, most of it is done with various simulation and/or modelling nowadays. Which makes coding, at least functionally, extremely useful.

Even if you're entirely experimental, being able to connect hardware with software, Sarkari Result Pnr Status Showbox use code to analyze and organize results, etc... Very useful.

It's mostly just verbal math that lets you leverage computational power as an extension of your brain, which for any physicist is a dream come true.
